Earlier this year, we took an exciting step forward with the installation of our Idefix at Soneva Fushi, Maldives, in collaboration with the Soneva Foundation.
In the heart of the Indian Ocean, we partnered with the passionate marine biologists at Soneva Fushi to introduce them to our 3D printing process.
Harnessing Local Materials for Coral Restoration
In the heart of the Indian Ocean, we partnered with the passionate marine biologists at Soneva Fushi to introduce them to our 3D printing process. During a dedicated workshop, we demonstrated how to harvest sand from the shoreline and use it to create 3D-printed artificial reef structures designed to host new coral growth. With this new knowledge in hand, the Soneva Fushi team is already putting local materials to work in their coral restoration efforts.
This project marks an important collaboration for us, and we are eager to see how our technology will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Soneva Fushi team as they work tirelessly to protect and regenerate the coral reefs.
We are grateful to the Soneva Foundation for their support and to the Soneva Fushi marine biologists for their dedication to marine conservation. We look forward to sharing more updates as this partnership progresses.
We look forward to work together with Soneva Foundation and Coralive! Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
